CYAK Supporter Giving: Ways to Give
Chris Lockwood – CYAK Scholarship Fund: Providing scholarships for youth in Alaska to attend Bible Camp and other CYAK Youth Retreats To designate your gift toward the Chris Lockwood Fund, please give in one of the ways listed below, making sure to indicate "Chris Lockwood Fund" on the payment. If you are making your payment through paypal, this can be written where is reads, "add special instructions for seller". Through credit card, simply inform Sue when you speak to her on the phone, and for checks, please write "Chris Lockwood Fund" in the memo line. Thank you for your investment in the lives of youth and young adults in Alaska! Online: Gifts can be made via PayPal by clicking the yellow "Donate" button in the upper right. Current Ministry Needs
Regional Office Needs: $ 9,500 As we transition from one to two offices, there are still some mobilization expenses that need to be covered. Please consider making a gift to make our move go smoothly.
Leaders for Life: $9,500 We would like to establish high school and young adult leaders in rural villages. Leaders for Life is a program that will build up potential indigenous youth workers, which is the ultimate goal for CYAK.
Youth Worker Training: $7,500 For those that are interested in working with the youth, this training provides a starting point and also a place of encouragement and collaboration among villages.
Young Adult Ministries: $5,500 Our three Arigaa communities in Fairbanks, Anchorage and Palmer, are college aged ministries focusing primarily on reaching out to rural students who attend UAF, UAA, and Job Corps in Palmer. Funds are needed to support this ministry as we seek to reach students who are at a pivotal stage of life.
Administration Fund: $7,500 As we are reaching more students and would like to expand our program the need for administrative personnel has become key to making our ministry a success.
Student Scholarships: $7,500 This fund will give youth from rural Alaska an opportunity to participate in regional youth events, CHIC, or Bible Camp,where they will have the opportunity to hear the gospel and grow in their faith.
