Local Ministry: 

Community Covenant Church in Fairbanks is my home base for ministry. As the Youth Director, I disciple teens, organize weekly youth group gatherings, plan fundraising activities and fun events, and mobilize volunteers and church members to support both local and statewide youth ministry.

One of the greatest joys of my ministry is leading a team of teens and volunteers to Covenant Bible Camp in Unalakleet every June. It’s a highlight of my year—I think about camp year-round and look forward to it with excitement!
My husband, Evans, and I live on the outskirts of Fairbanks, Alaska. While I’m running around with teenagers, Evans works in research support at the University of Alaska Fairbanks’ Geophysical Institute. He also volunteers as the worship leader at our local Covenant church, where he serves as a board member. I’m especially grateful that he takes time off every summer to serve with me at Unalakleet Covenant Bible Camp.

Since getting married in 2020, we lived in a dry cabin—until last summer (2024), when we converted it into a “real house” with running water and sewer. Although it’s still under construction, our little cabin is a tremendous blessing.

Fundraising Need and Goal:

Thanks to God’s provision—through our local church and through supporters across Alaska and the Lower 48—I was fully funded and able to begin full-time ministry in January 2025 and continue throughout this year.

To remain in full-time ministry, I need to maintain this base of financial supporters. Looking ahead to 2026, I will need an additional eight people who are willing to partner with me by giving $100 per month.

*Another ongoing financial need we have is sending students and volunteers to camp each year. It costs $250 per camper for registration and about $400 per person for travel. Our teens work hard to fundraise every year, and our group continues to grow! Looking ahead to summer, I anticipate needing to raise about $8,000 to bring our team to camp.
