Arigaa House
Covenant Youth of Alaska, in partnership with First Covenant Church of Anchorage, is providing an intentional community for young women attending the universities or pursuing a vocation in the Anchorage area who desire to build their relationship with Christ, and be in community with other believers, while residing in a reliable and safe community.
During the course of the year, it is our goal that each woman grow in faith, confidence in self and others, and leadership. This is facilitated by a CYAK staff person, and accomplished through several avenues:
1. Weekly Bible Studies
2. Morning devotions/prayer times two + times/ week
3. One-on-one mentoring
4. Late night conversations
5. Sharing in meals together
6. House activities and outings
7. Service at church and in community
8. Participation in the local weekly Arigaa meetings
