Team Building:

Team building is an important key for the development of youth ministry. CYAK recruits, trains, resources, networks, and synergizes youth workers and volunteers. Then we help with strategic planning.

  1. Recruit: We recruit local volunteers to work with the kids in the village. We also recruit youth workers from outside the village.

  2. Train/Resource: Volunteers who are well equipped make a significant difference in the lives of kids. Feeling unequipped is a major cause for burnout.

  3. Network: To avoid feeling isolated and discouraged we create a sense of connection for youth workers and volunteers by networking at bible camp, regional youth events, and times of training.

  4. Synergize: Connecting youth workers together creates synergy. Synergy is working together so we could accomplish ministry that we couldn't do on our own.

  5. Strategic Planning: CYAK helps youth workers and churches strategically plan for effectively reaching youth.

Continuum of Care:

The continuum of care provides a spiritual growth discipleship process for students from ages 12 to 25. This continuum is designed to develop disciples and emerging leaders. This continuum includes Winning youth to a relationship with Christ. Building youth in their faith and Sending them out to reach others. Currently CYAK is working towards expanding regional youth events, Bible Camp, Amundsen Educational Center, and the CYAK House. In partnership with the local churches we are developing a student leadership program for teenagers and young adults.
