Our Mission

Covenant Youth of Alaska is committed to the development of youth ministry in Alaska. We coordinate a team of youth leaders, churches and volunteers who focus on ministering to students between the ages of twelve and twenty-five. Our ministry to students ranges from running youth group in a small village, unkauditorium.com, to equipping students for life with vocational training and Christian mentoring, aecak.org.

We are working to develop indigenous leaders through the Leaders for Life program. Students benefit from the support provided through mentoring, training, and connecting with the faith community in their local church. There are nineteen Covenant Churches in Alaska, thirteen of which are in Western Alaska. College Ministries, Bible Camp, Regional Youth Events, and Christian Carpentry school as well as a Discipleship school in Soldotna are all different opportunities for students to encounter Christ at different points in life. We use the term 'Continuum of Care' to illustrate the opportunities students have to find hope, healing and freedom in Christ, experience the support of God's people, and then to serve, whether at home in the village or on the road system.
